Public Speaking Outline - Tuesday Meeting - time = 45min
The key to a good presentation/speech is organization and interaction. Speeches should never be read or memorized. The topic should be learned and shared. Slides can used as an outline, but never read the slide. Use no more than 1 slide per minute and 1 topic per slide (avoid clutter).
Pictures are powerful and the right image will enhance the points you're trying to make. If possible, involve the audience in a physically stimulating way. Movement creates Emotion, and people make buying decisions when they are emotionally stimulated.
Opening - Tell them what you're going to tell them.
Body - Teach them the core of what you want them to know as you've already outlined.
Summary - Tell them what you told them

- Introduce the problem, put it into perspective in a way the audience can relate too.
- Give a summary of what comes next. ie. I'm going to cover, 5 things you've GOT to look for, 3 Common sense actions to take tonight, 7 Ingredients your body HAS to have to engage the parasympathetic nervous system and relax.
